The MESH Kit contains all of the necessary components needed to install and use a
remote Solar powered wireless MESH of three radios. A single base unit to
attach to internet router and two 150 Meter extensions (500 meter available).
The Kit contains the following Commercial grade components:
- 135 Watt Solar Panel with mount kit (Sidepole or wall mount)
- Battery and POE component case and 10AWG wire. Dual battery (one battery included).
- 3 MESH Radios with 7dBi OMNI Antenna.
- Up to 3" pole mount included for MESH radios.
- 25 meter POE from solar connection cables included.
- Graphical MESH utility.
- MPPT solar battery charger with three stages of charging (seperate load and battery charge).
- 24 hours of running time with no charging conditions (48 with two batteries) .
- Complete turnkey system. Setup and turn on.
Warranites:
- 25 years on Solar Panel.
- 10 years on battery pack.
- 2 years on Wireless radios (as technology changes so can the radios).
- Lifetime Technical support
Maintenence:
- Wipe Solar Panel once every three months.
- Yearly software updates
The purpose of these units is to allow the set up of a MESH of Radios with two of the radios that makeup
the MESH (of three) are solar powered because POE to the unit is impractical.
The system is a Wireless MESH that allows easy expansion of coverage area.
This configuration takes full advantage of your internet bandwidth
(unlike a wireless repeater/Access point where performance is cut in half ).
Setup is simple and direct. Put the pole in the ground, turn it on and connect
to the MESH radio at your home base.
The Kit comes complete with all mounting hardware for the Solar panel, Battery Box and remote units.
Optionally there is a tri-pod available that can accomidate up to a 10' 1 5/8", pole free-standing
mounting. Tri-pod can be staked into the ground.
System can mount on larger towers but will need a custom quote and customer consultation.
DO NOT FORGET THIS ENTIRE UNIT COMES UNDER TAX INCENTIVES FOR ALTERNATIVE ENERGY.
The Federal goverment offers a 30% incentive and that coupled with state and utility company
incentives, in most case 100 % of the cost can be offset in current fisical year.
